Medically, circumcision can be performed at any age, but the most ideal periods are the newborn period (first month) or before 2 years of age and after 6 years of age. Between the ages of 2-6, it is a period when it is recommended to postpone circumcision unless there is a medical necessity due to the psychosexual development of children.
